To give further depth to Indo-US business relations by giving primacy to Indian MSME (micro, small, and medium enterprise) investments, the US India Investors Forum (USIIF) will establish its southern chapter on May 20, in a strategic tie-up with the Federation of Karnataka Chambers and Commerce (FKCCI).
USIIF Chairman Manoj Gursahani said Indian MSMEs can tap growing opportunities in the US by taking advantage of its close association with US consulates and US commercial Services.
“The USIIF will act as a platform where Indian MSMEs can understand the highly competitive US business environment. We will help them in building business relationships with those companies which require MSME support,” said Gursahani.
He said the diversity and complexity of laws in 50 US states necessitate a platform help Indian MSMEs.
FKCCI president Sampathraman said USIIF will become a catalyst in taking Indian MSME investments to the US. USIIF will hold BIO Philadelphia with the participation of 100-odd Indian biotech companies..
